The most common question we get is about members joining or renewing and the MN ISSA site not reflecting that, please review the below for an explanation:

While MN ISSA is a chapter of ISSA International we operate our own technology platforms.  This means that your membership records are held by ISSA International and we need to download the file and sync our database monthly.  There will always be a lag from when you join or renew to your record being accurate in our system.  If you are trying to register for an event as a member and are caught in this scenario it is acceptable to register as a non-member.  Please only reach out to us when there is a cost associated with an event or it has been more than 45 days.  Thank you for your understanding!
