Kim Salo

Kim is an accomplished Cybersecurity and IT Audit Professional with progressive responsibilities and international experience in planning and executing PCI and other security assessments.  Kim recently led a team of cybersecurity BISO analysts who partnered closely with agile product teams to understand key initiatives and solution architecture, provide security advisory services that align with the business, security, and compliance objectives of the company, understand current threats and vulnerabilities, promote balanced risk mitigation, and drive remediation of open risks with appropriate urgency.  

Kim has experience in the insurance, financial services, marketing, hospitality, travel and retail industries.  She holds certifications as an Internal Security Assessor (ISA), Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Inactive) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Jeff Olson
Sr. Manager, Global Security
General Mills, Inc., Minneapolis, MN

Mr. Olson supports Global Security’s Physical Security and Cyber Security initiatives at General Mills, one of the world’s largest consumer packaged food companies that markets leading brands in more than 100 countries. In this role, he is one of the groups Business Security Managers (BSM’s) and responsible for establishing strategic internal and external partnerships, and the necessary protocols, systems, and tools to successfully engage Global Security’s teams in risk mitigation in the areas of physical, regulatory, cyber security and general security guidance within the Supply Chain and ITQ business sectors.

Prior to joining General Mills in 2005, Mr. Olson directed Information Security at United Health Technologies (UHT), where he was responsible for managing the protection of the company’s digital assets and as directed under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Previously, he managed the global security functions at Imation Corporation and DataCard Corporation, responsible for all aspects of secuity including; physical and operational secuity, IT security, IP Security, investigations, guard services, crisis management and business continuity planning. Mr. Olson has worked at several major Twin Cities corporations as an Information Systems Auditor/Manager and Business Continuity Planner, including; Grand Metropolitan, Norwest Bank (now Wells Fargo), Gelco Corp. (now GE Capital) and Cenex; He also has extensive international security experience, having travelled to and supported businesses in more than 30 countries.

Paul Gunderson

BISO Director, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Data Sciences

Paul is currently employed with Target Corporation in Cybersecurity as the Director of the BISO team supporting the Infrastructure, Architecture & Data Sciences areas. Paul started his career at Target leading a team supporting call center technologies, then moved to leading teams with responsibility for enterprise infrastructure on the Collaboration & Network teams. Paul started his work in Cybersecurity managing Target’s Security Consulting team, and prior to his work in the BISO organization lead Target’s Vulnerability Management & Endpoint Security team.
